Thank you for the advice about HSV-1. I now know that 90% of the human population has it, there is no cure for it, and you can contract it just by kissing alone, but only when it's broken out, usually on the face! You also told me how it's also called "cold sores," which, when broken out, can be controlled with certain short-term medication(s). Since then, from Internet researching, I found out at Wikipedia.com that it's a virus lying dormant in nerve cells and that it becomes chronic and untreatable if not medically treated by a physician within six months. My ideas about curing HSV-1 have included adding something excreting to the body that would have more affinity for the virus than the nerve cells themselves.
